The artist says, “It is a stirring experience to glimpse a herd of mustangs galloping wild and free.”
"In June of 2007, I photographed wild horses in the desert of southwest Wyoming. I found one black stallion that to me was the quintessential example of the wild horse - an untamed spirit. Each day I returned to the area where he guarded his band of mares. I was able to capture a number of portrait shots of this magnificent animal.
